“On avec littéralement l'impression que les gens allaient mourir,” dit Robert Pattinson dans le hall Alice Tully à Manhattan ce Samedi soir. Alors que plusieurs personnes du casting du film de Pattinson, “The Lost City of Z,” ont parlé d'un régime alimentaire extrêmes et d'entrainements très strictes pour se préparer au tournage, l'acteur Britannique a été marqué par une intensité plus vague “C'est un des films les plus fous sur lesquels j'ai pu travailler,” il ajoute. “Le tournage était hallucinant.”

Pattinson, Miller, and the new 'Spider-Man' Tom Holland closed out the New York Film Festival with the premiere of 'The Lost City of Z.'

“People literally seemed like they were going to die,” Robert Pattinson said from the safe grounds of Alice Tully Hall in Manhattan on Saturday night. While several in the cast of Pattinson’s film, “The Lost City of Z,” spoke of extreme diets and strict workout regimes to prep for filming, the British actor noted a more vague intensity. “It was one of the craziest movies I’ve ever worked on,” he added. “The shoot was insane.”

“James sent me the book maybe six years ago, seven years ago,” Pattinson said of the David Grann book. “And it was with an entirely different cast, and a different script. I think it’s gone through three different iterations of casts since I’ve been attached – I’m the only one who was originally involved. "Oh god, it took forever to grow. I was so happy to get rid of it. It was disgusting, the whole thing was disgusting," he told The Hollywood Reporter on Saturday night. "And I had lost so much weight by the end of the shoot — nearly 35 pounds, we weren't eating the entire time — that when I shaved it off, it was like I had no bottom half of my face. 'Maps To The Stars' will Premiere on September 27th at the New York Film Festival

'Maps To The Stars': L'Avant-Première US se fera le 27 Septembre au Festival du Film de New York

Nous vous annoncions il y a quelques jours ici, que le film était annoncé pour le 52ème Festival du Film de New York, qui se déroulera du 26 Septembre au 12 Octobre. Nous savons maintenant que l'avant-première se fera le 27 septembre à 21h heure locale (3h du matin pour la France). Il y aura deux projections du film, une le 27 septembre à 21h et l'autre le 28 septembre à 15h. Vous pouvez voir la programmation ici. Nous ne savons pas encore si Rob sera présent, nous vous tiendrons informés dès que nous le saurons.

We told you a few days ago here, that the film was announced at the 52nd New York Film Festival, which takes place from September 26 to October 12. We now know that the premiere will be on September 27th at 9 PM. There will be two screenings, one on september 27th at 9PM and an other on september 28th at 3PM. You can check the full schedule here. We don't know yet if Rob will attend the premiere, we will keep you informed as soon as we know.

Thirty films are included in the lineup of the 52nd NYFF, which also features new work from Pedro Costa, Abel Ferrara, Jean-Luc Godard, Bennett Miller, Mike Leigh, Mia Hansen-Løve, the late Alain Resnais, Alice Rohrwacher, and the Safdie Brothers, among others. David Cronenberg takes Bruce Wagner’s script—a pitch-black Hollywood satire—chills it down, and gives it a near-tragic spin. The terrible loneliness of narcissism afflicts every character from the fading star Havana (Julianne Moore, who won the Best Actress Award at Cannes for her nervy performance) to the available-for-anything chauffeur (Robert Pattinson) to the entire Weiss family, played by John Cusack, Olivia Williams, Evan Bird, and Mia Wasikowska.
