Robert Pattinson Is Alive Again

The Twilight heartthrob seemed damned to be a brooding ex-vampire forever. But then he drove a stake through his career and got to work resurrecting it.

So it’s settled, says Rob Pattinson, we’re going to do ayahuasca together! Ayahuasca is an Amazonian hallucinogen that people take to journey to the center of themselves, usually with a shaman, usually on a retreat, and it is a totally normal and valid way for us to spend one of our two days together, I completely agree. Yes, Rob, let’s do it. For the great big stunt of our GQ cover story, let’s take great big doses of ayahuasca. Let’s slide down the gooey tunnels of our ids until we Malkovich Malkovich Malkovich. Then I look it up. There’s a really long period of your trip where you’re just vomiting. But we’re up for some vomiting! Nobody here is a newborn babe who can’t handle a little reverse peristalsis! We just met, after all, and what better way to get to know each other than a little kayak into each other’s insides? Me and Rob Pattinson! Vomiting up a storm! What a story! But—but—maybe all that vomiting would make it hard to talk? Maybe it would change our psyches irreparably and return us to our loved ones forever altered? It might, right? Back to the drawing board. But you know what they say: There are no wrong ideas in a brainstorm.

Robert Pattinson nous a dit pourquoi il a accepté d'être le nouveau visage de 'Dior Homme'.

Q: Qu'est-ce que Dior signifie pour vous?
A: Dior est une légende et j'aime que ce soit français. Quand je tourne un film, j'espère toujours qu'il va être présenté au Festival de Cannes parce que c'est la Top League. Le monde est plus complexe que moi et j'espère secrètement que je vais trouver un peu de Stardust (poussière d'étoiles).

Q: Les français se caractérisent par leur élégance, aspirez-vous à ça?
A: Pour moi élégance n'est pas dans l'apparence, c'est la capacité à se sentir à l'aise avec soi-même et la capacité d'agir avec honneur et respect et savoir écouter les autres au lieu de parler de soi en permanence.

Q: Qu'est-ce qui vous attire dans le parfum 'Dior Homme'?
R: Pour moi, c'est de reconstruire l'image de la fragrance chic. Il y a quelque chose de très intéressant à faire des remakes de films ou de parfums, vous avez la chance de faire quelque chose de nouveau, plus sauvage que la source. Mon personnage dans la pub porte un costume, mais court sur les toits et devient comme dingue.

Robert Pattinson told us why he agreed to be the new face of ‘Dior homme’.

Q: What does Dior means to you?

A: Dior is a legend and I like that it’s French. When I’m filming a movie I always hope that it’ll be presented in the Cannes festival because it’s the Top League. The world is more complex than me and I secretly hope that I’ll get a little bit of a Stardust.

Q: The French people Characterized with elegance, do you aspire to get it?

A: To me elegance isn’t about looks, it’s the ability to feel comfortable with yourself and the ability to behave with honor and respect and to listen to others instead of talking about yourself constantly .

Q: what attract you to the fragrance ‘Dior homme’?

A: To me is to rebuild the image classy fragrance. There is something very attractive in doing remakes of movies or fragrances, you have the chance to do something new more wilder than the source. My character in the commercial wore a suit but ran on roofs and going crazy.
