Super interview! Ça faisait longtemps que nous n'avions pas eu d'interview radio. Ca fait plaisir d'entendre la voix de Rob et son rire joyeux, de l'écouter parler passionnément de son rôle dans 'The Lost City of Z'. À la fin de l'interview, nous apprenons que parmi ses rôles à venir il y a: un psychopathe New Yorkais mentalement perturbé ('Good Time'?), une comédie burlesque ('Damsel'?) et aussi un autre rôle totalement improvisé (une surprise?).

Great interview! It's been a long time since we had a radio interview. Nice to hear Rob's voice and cheerful laugh, to listen to him talk passionately about his role in 'The Lost City of Z'. At the end of the interview we learn that Rob's upcoming roles include: a Queens New Yorker mentaly damaged psychopath ('Good Time'?), a slapstick comedy ('Damsel'?) and then a totally improvised role (a surprise?)

Rob: I think it's kind of funny. I mean literally. I do weird movies and I like weird movies. And I just think it's kind of, all these, like people, the little girls screaming and then they're going to see The Rover. It's kind of hilarious.

David: I'd like to take credit for this. And I've always thought he's a really, really, a very underrated actor and I thought he was extremely talented. So it just proves that my instinct that he was an actor who was a star before he had a chance to prove that he was a real actor. I mean it's like when he gave Rosette the Palme d'Or everyone told us this is terrible and then (?) so you feel your instinct was correct and that of course makes you feel really good.

Rob: It's just someone believing in you. I mean, you kind of, someone who you really respect and it makes you think about yourself differently afterwards. And I was always quite ambitious when I was younger but after Cosmopolis you kind of feel different ambitions afterwards and you believe in yourself a little bit more.

People are like that in LA but there are plenty of people who don't think like that and to be honest I've only had good experiences in Hollywood since I've worked in this industry. Of course, I've seen people lose themselves but I don't think it's Hollywood's fault but due to their own nerosis. This place attracts a lot of crazies who leave even crazier. But really it's really fun if you're not nuts *laughs*"

La journaliste Emily Dean a mentionné sa rencontre et son interview avec Rob concernant Dior pour le Magazine InStyle UK



Traduction:

Elle explique donc être allé à Beverly Hills car elle était l'invitée de Dior. Ils ont été gâtés par Dior car ils ont mis à leur disposition des voitures qui les ont emmenés partout. 

Elle avait été invitée afin de rencontrer la nouvelle égérie de Dior, Robert Pattinson. Le journaliste le surnomme Bob puis Rpattz mais Emily explique qu'il n'est pas un Bob et qu'elle ne croit pas qu'il aime le surnom de Rpattz. Elle l'a interviewée pour le magazine Instyle mais elle ne peut pas dévoiler grand chose. 

La 1ère question du journaliste est la suivante: dans les magazines, on le décrit toujours comme un bel homme et il veut donc savoir à quel point Rob est beau. Emily Dean dit "Je dirais qu'il est bien plus que beau. Il a l'air vraiment très jeune, et c'est ce que les adolescentes aiment". Ils s'interrogent sur son âge avant de dire qu'il a 26 ou 27 ans". La journaliste ajoute "qu'il a été très sympa. Il a adoré ses blagues. Il a un grand sens de l'humour." 

Elle a ensuite parlé à Rob de la série 'Doctor Who' et elle lui a demandé s'il la regardait mais il ne regarde pas cette série. Elle lui a demandé s'il aimerait jouer dans cette série et il lui a dit qu'il était trop jeune et qu'il faudrait attendre qu'il ait au moins 60 ans. Le journaliste pense qu'il pourrait être bon dans cette série mais qu'il ne le fait pas car il est trop célèbre.
