Devant une foule incluant Dita Von Teese, Chris Evans, le philanthrope Wallis Annenberg et Robert Pattinson (buvant des Coronas et utilisant une cigarette électronique), la compagnie du LA Dance Project de Millepied a exécuté trois mises en scène, y compris une nouvelle pièce par Millepied (avec des costumes de Rodarte) et un travail dark et sombre par le dernier chorégraphe légendaire Merce Cunningham qui n'avait pas été exécuté depuis 50 ans.

Portman et Millepied, ainsi que Von Teese, Pattinson mais aussi 120 autres invités, ont assisté à un dîner de pré-performance au Disney Concert Hall sponsorisé par Van Cleef et Arpels et pour aller ensuite en After Party dans un espace reservé à l'événement. Pattinson - qui est ami avec Portman et Millepied et dit vivre près de chez eux à Los Angeles - a dit à THR qu'il a aimé les performances, mais ne peut pas s'imaginer danser un jour dans un film : "j'ai été inspiré mais je connais mes limites." S'il avait dû danser pour un rôle, "je ne l'aurais jamais obtenu."

Before a crowd that included Dita von Teese, Chris Evans, philanthropist Wallis Annenberg and Robert Pattinson (drinking Coronas and using an electronic cigarette), Millepied's L.A. Dance Project company performed three pieces, including a new piece by Millepied (with costumes by Rodarte) and a dark, shadowy work by the late legendary choreographer Merce Cunningham that had not been performed in 50 years.

Portman and Millepied, plus von Teese, Pattinson and around 120 other guests, attended a pre-performance dinner at Disney Concert Hall sponsored by Van Cleef & Arpels and then all hung out for the after-party in an event area off the main lobby. Pattinson -- who is friends with Portman and Millepied and is said to live near them in Los Angeles -- told THR that he loved the performances but can't see himself ever dancing in a film: "I was inspired but I know my limitations." If he'd had to dance for a role, "I wouldn't have gotten it."
