Great and informative interview but nothing really new. Nevertheless I translated this answer because lots of people mentionned Charles Manson after watching 'Good Time':
Connie's look in the last shot, where he appears with dishevelled hair, his goat and his crazy eyes looking into the lens, remeind us a well-known photo of the criminal Charles Manson. Is it intentional?
Josh: Actually, I have always been really interested about Charles Manson .... I'm not going to tell you how much, but let's just say that I corresponded with his fiancée and his best friend. I always wanted to meet him, I think he's an extremely interesting character. Basically, he's just a failed musician ... I talked a little about Charly to Rob when we were preparing for the film, but really it wasn't at the center of our conversations. I think it's just a strange metaphysical coincidence.
