'Life' is Now Indicated as "Complete" on IMDB and The Playlist Senses a Premiere in Cannes

Et 'Life' fait également parti de nombreuses listes de "Films les plus attendus de 2015" dans la presse mondiale. C'est prometteur! Et The Playlist pressent même une avant-première cannoise!

Synopsis: Le photographe Dennis Stock accepte une nouvelle affectation pour le Magazine Life qui consiste à prendre des photos de la star montante James Dean. Les deux deviendront des amis proches par la suite.
Ce que vous devez savoir: Tout concernant ce film semble prometteur, à l'exception de son titre de pacotille (nous espérons qu'il sera changé à la dernière minute pour n'importe quoi d'autre). Nous avons été fans de l'œuvre de Corbijn depuis son premier film en 2007 "Control", dans lequel il a déjà fait ses preuves avec le genre assez délicat qu'est le biopic. Maintenant, après son excellent travail par la suite, même si un peu plus modérée, dans "The American" et l'année dernière avec "A Most Wanted Man", Corbijn s'attaque à un nouveau biopic. Ce qui nous donne encore plus d'espoir cette fois-ci, c'est que c'est un monde que Corbijn connait très bien, vu qu'il a débuté sa carrière en tant que photographe. Et il a rassemblé un super casting, avec Pattinson qui s'est déjà débarrassé avec succès de ses paillettes de "Twilight" avec "The Rover" et "Maps to the Stars". Et nous mentirions si nous disions que nous ne sommes pas curieux de voir comment DeHaan va interpréter Dean.
Date de sortie: le 25 Septembre au Royaume-Uni, mais nous ne sommes pas sûrs concernant une date officielle du coté des États Unis. Attendez-vous à une avant-première à Cannes.

What You Need To Know: Everything about this picture sounds promising, except its shoddy title (we’re half-hoping it gets nixed last minute for something, anything, else). We’ve been fans of Corbijn’s work ever since his 2007 debut “Control,” in which he already proved his mettle with the tricky biopic genre. Now, after his continuously excellent, if slightly more subdued, work in “The American” and last year’s “A Most Wanted Man,” Corbijn is set to tackle the biopic again. What gives us even more hope this time around is that this is a world Corbijn knows all too well, since he started off his own career as a photographer. And he’s got a great cast to boot, with Pattinson already successfully shedding his post-"Twilight" glitter for “The Rover” and “Maps to the Stars.” We’d also be lying if we said we weren’t curious to see how DeHaan is going to pull off Dean.
Release Date: September 25th in the UK, but we’re not sure on an official date Stateside. Expect a Cannes premiere.
