OTTAWA - Ben Kingsley et Alessandra Mastronardi (To Rome with Love) s'embarquent avec Robert Pattinson- la star de Life, dont le tournage se déroule actuellement à Toronto.
Le dernier film d'Anton Corbijn raconte l'histoire du photographe freelance, Dennis Stock (Pattinson),et de sa mission pour Life Magazine, ainsi que son amitié inattendue avec l'acteur James Dean, incarné par Dane DeHaan.
La co-production Germano-canadienne-australienne vient du scénariste Asutralien Luke Davies.
Life est produit par See-Saw Films, compagnie de Iain Canning et Emile Sherman, avec Christina Piovesan de First Generation Films, et sera co-produit par Wolfgang Mueller et Benito Mueller de Barry Films.
Le film sera aussi tourné à Los Angeles, et sera financé par Corner Piece Capital, Telefilm Canada, Film4, Screen Australia, Michel Merkt, The Harold Greenberg Fund et Union Bank.
FilmNation Entertainment sera en charge des ventes internationales.
Selon mediabiz.de, Ben Kinsgley devrait interpréter Jack Warner, le producteur exécutif des Warner Studios.

The movie from director Anton Corbijn has started shooting in Toronto.
OTTAWA - Ben Kingsley and Alessandra Mastronardi (To Rome with Love) have jumped on board the Robert Pattinson-starrer Life, now shooting in Toronto.
The latest feature from director Anton Corbijn tells the story of a freelance photographer, Dennis Stock (Pattinson), on assignment for Life Magazine, and his unlikely friendship with the actor James Dean, played by Dane DeHaan.
The German/Canadian/Australian co-production comes from Australian writer Luke Davies.
Life is produced by See-Saw Films' Iain Canning and Emile Sherman, with Christina Piovesan of First Generation Films, and is co-produced by Wolfgang Mueller and Benito Mueller of Barry Films.
The film will also shoot on location in Los Angeles, and is financed by Corner Piece Capital, Telefilm Canada, Film4, Screen Australia, Michel Merkt, The Harold Greenberg Fund and Union Bank.
FilmNation Entertainment is handling international sales.
