Dane DeHaan a révélé qu'il n'avait pas tenté de devenir ami avec Robert Pattinson avant qu'ils ne débutent le tournage de Life.
L'acteur de The Amazing Spider-Man joue aux côté du beau gosse de Twilight dans le film de Anton Corbijn, qui se focalise sur l'amitié entre le photographe de Life Dennis Stock (Pattinson) et la star d'Hollywood James Dean (De Haan).
"Leur relation est vraiment intéressante. Ils deviennent proches dans le film, et ils deviennent réellement amis, mais ils ne lient pas d'amitié dès le début," dit il.
"Donc ce que nous avons fait c'est que nous n'avons pas essayé de créer une sorte de relation avant le tournage. On est arrivé et c'est là que notre amitié a débutée. C'est donc comme ça que c'est arrivé sur grand écran et c'est comme ça que ça s'est passé dans la vraie vie"
L'acteur de 28 ans a dit qu'ils avaient créé un lien sur le plateau et il ajoute: " C'est un mec vraiment sympa. Il est vraiment détendu et on se marre quand on traine avec lui et on a bien rit sur le plateau. On a passé de bon moments.."
Sir Ben Kingsley et Joel Edgerton jouent aussi dans Life, dont le tournage s'est achevé le 1er avril.
"On vient juste de finir il y a une semaine et demie," a dit Dane.
Life, qui est désormais en post-production, doit sortir plus tard cette année.

They do become close in the film, and they do become friends, but they're not friends from the start," he said."So what we did is we didn't try to make any sort of friendship beforehand. We got there and that's when our friendship started. So as it was happening on screen, it was also happening in real life."The 28-year-old said they bonded on set, adding: " He's a really nice guy. He's totally chill and he's fun to hang out with, and he's fun to be on set with. We had a great time."Sir Ben Kingsley and Joel Edgerton also star in Life, which wrapped shooting on April 1."We just finished a week and a half ago," Dane said.Life, which is now in post-production, is expected to be released later this year.
